This might sound crazy, but I have to tell you that I actually count every morning how many hours sleep I have had that night. Why? Because that way I can gauge my day. If I only had 6 hours sleep? Maybe my day may not go as well as I want. If I had 10 hours last night, I feel great and energized and like I have made up for any sleep lost before and can function super well.
Preferably I try to get 8 hours.
