Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?

Yes. I was sitting on a train from Copenhagen to Amsterdam. It was in 1996 and it was January and it was -6 degrees Celsius. I was sharing a carriage compartment with two men. One was sitting on the other side of the compartment making all kinds of noises in his own language. He seemed frustrated with something and kept changing seats and muttering, coughing and spluttering, it was really revolting. This went on for about 20 minutes. It was night time, it was cold and I wanted to sleep. Finally the man left the carriage compartment and slammed the sliding door behind him. Myself and the other guy sitting there both put our hands into the air slapped the others hands and shouted ‘Yay!!!!!!!!’ Then laughed, not a word was spoken between us as we finally found our own comfortable place in our seats and went to sleep.

Never spoke a word to the guy again nor saw him….

What about you?
