Going to the doctor – key questions to ask if you are an ESL person

This post is purely to help those people who need those quick question and answers to practice before they go off to their important situations:

Today it is about going to the doctor. Look at these questions and practice them and also consider some answers:

Patient questions:

  1. Can I see the doctor today?
  2. What time can I see the doctor?
  3. What is the problem doctor?
  4. How often do I take these pills?
  5. When do I see you again?
  6. What do I do if the problem gets worse?


Doctor questions:

  1. What is the problem?
  2. How long have you had this problem?
  3. When did the problem get worse?
  4. Can you bend your knee?
  5. Can you open your mouth?
  6. Can you lift your arm?
  7. Can you sit on the bed please?
  8. Can you sit up please?
  9. Can you turn on your side please?

Practice these with a friend and see if you can make any new questions also.
