For some of you who are international students, you will do doubt be finding it difficult to deal with not having your family around. For others you may be going back home for that special time.

But for most of you it is the same old thing with family and friends.

What we like to do is of course go to the Mosque on the morning of Eid, pray and then there is that wonderful time when you can go back to your favourite coffee shop at 10.00am and have that delicious latte that has been sitting there waiting for you for 30 days.

After that there really is a joy in the air. A freedom and an appreciation for all things tasty! I personally never overeat as my stomach just can’t take it, but what we do do is visit friends and relatives and or have…
