Do you ENJOY your English Classes?!

The best language centres are definitely the ones that everyone is talking about. But the question is why. What makes an English language centre a place with a great reputation.

It sounds very simple to say that it’s because there are great teachers, but what is it about a teacher that makes them great?

This question has been asked many times, but this time I want to put a new spin on it. I will say that there are plenty of well trained, well qualified and caring teachers out there. These are teachers who really understand their technical side and how to teach it also. But I am going to take it a step further.

Great teachers are more than that. Great teachers will always see beyond the textbook, beyond the technical side of English and beyond the teaching process. Great teachers will always firstly love their job, love making the learning fun and interesting and most of all enjoy being in the classroom just as much as the students do. If you have this wonderful combination, students and teachers will truly enjoy their English class, and it will be a win-win situation for all concerned.

But teachers don’t just enjoy their classes because they love teaching. They also enjoy meeting new people, they enjoy learning about other cultures and how others think. They also feel valued by the school they work for and feel they are happy to represent the brand on their behalf.

So ask yourself – are you enjoying your English classes? You should be! And that will be specifically because you have a great teacher who also enjoys being there with you!
